On September 13, 2005, the St. Francis Xavier School 8th grade class went to see the exhibit St. Peter and the Vatican — The Legacy of the Popes at the Notre Dame Basilica in Montreal. After visiting the exhibit, the students were able to spend some time inside the Basilica. "This was a once in a lifetime experience, and we are so pleased that we were able to make this happen for our students", said Father Lavalley, who joined them on the trip.
