St. Francis Xavier Home and School Association

The Home and School Association of St. Francis Xavier School meets monthly during the school year. Our first objective is to promote the welfare of our children in home, school, church and community. Secondly, we strive to better the relationship between the home and the school environment so that parents, faculty and staff may better educate the child spiritually, mentally, physically and socially. Our third objective is to support the operations of the school through various events and fundraising activities.

The Home and School Association is about having fun and accelerating our children’s academic success. We encourage parents to meet with the administrative team, communicate with the teachers, volunteer in the classroom, attend school functions, monitor class work and supervise homework. We all work together in ensuring our children’s academic and social success.

The Association has much financial support from both the school community and the local community. Our event donors include parents, local businesses and support from companies such as Coca-Cola Bottling Company of Northern New England, Mills and Greer and Minuteman Press.

In addition to monthly parent meetings, the St. Francis Xavier Home and School Committee supported and/or operated the following activities during the year 2004 — 2005:

Home And School Association Officers

Mrs. Michell Langlais, President
Mrs. Mary Gagne, Vice President
Mrs. Julie Chappell, Treasurer
Mrs. Kim McCain, Secretary
Mrs. Rachel Yeager, Events Coordinator
