9:00 a.m. 5K USATF Certified
(VT03004RF). Two lap course through the North Street neighborhood in
Winooski.
9:00 a.m. 2.5K (1.55 miles), same course as 5K but only one lap
8:45 a.m. 0.2 Mile loop around the school and playground (no
roads)
Adults are welcome to run the 5K or run or walk the
2.5K. Children are welcome to participate in any of the three races
based on ability. |

2.5K or 5K - $10, $5 for kids 14 and
under (GMAA members subtract $1)
0.2 Mile - Free! |
| REGISTRATION: |
8:00 - 8:45 a.m. race day at the St.
Francis Xavier School on St. Peter Street. Bathrooms available.
Pre-registration is encouraged to avoid race day lines. Make checks
payable to St. Francis Xavier School.
All participants must register on a separate entry
form, including kids in the free 0.2 Mile race. |
| DIRECTIONS: |
Head north from the route 7 and 15
intersection at the center of Winooski. Turn left at the Spring Street
traffic light. Turn right onto Weaver Street. Turn left onto St. Peter
Street. School parking lot is on your right. |
| PARKING: |
In the school parking lot or on Weaver
Street uphill from the church.
Please do not park on St. Peter Street or on the
convent side of Weaver Street! |
| PRIZES
& RESULTS: |
In the 5K, prizes to the top runner in
each of 4 divisions: men 0-39 and 40+, women 0-39 and 40+. All children
finishers, regardless of distance raced, will get a finisher's
certificate. The 5K race will have official results posted, while the
2.5K and 0.2 Mile races will only have the large clock at the finish
for participants to note their time. The emphasis in the shorter races
is on participation and not speed. |

FRANCIS AWARDS: |
In the 5K, the fastest St. Francis
parent and teacher will get a certificate. The St. Francis class with
the highest percentage of race participation (regardless of speed or
distance) will get a certificate for their classroom. The teachers as a
whole are considered a single "class" and thus will be competing
against the students! |
