Thank you for your interest in Saint Francis Xavier School. Since it's founding in 1862, Saint Francis Xavier School has served generations of families because of the contributions from parents, alumni, and friends.
In recent months, the School received a $50,000 grant from Amy E. Tarrant of Burlington, VT and a $20,000 grant from the Fanny Allen Corporation in Colchester, VT.
You can support the work of Saint Francis Xavier School by participating in our 2006 Annual Fund Campaign. Any contribution, large or small, will be appreciated by our community and will help us support the success of all the children who attend our school.

Other Ways To Support Our School
A New Place To Play
We are planning a new playground. Our existing playground equipment was old when it was donated to us over 10 years ago. Since then, time and heavy use have taken their toll. Providing a safe, modern and inviting play area for our children would be an important benefit for our students.

New Windows For Our School
The windows in the oldest part of the school need attention.
They are very large and give wonderful natural light to the
classrooms. But, their wooden frames are warped and the
glass has a negative energy efficiency rating. During the
winter, our furnace works overtime to keep our little ones
warm. Given recent trends in fuel prices, window repair will
also save us money in the future.
We are currently seeking cost estimates for the repair of these beautiful old windows. Parents and friends of our school are working to raise the funds for this worthwhile project.

Saint Francis Xavier School has received a $50,000 grant from Amy E. Tarrant of Burlington, VT. This grant will help to establish a Cultural Center at Saint Francis Xavier School to include art, drama and music. We are excited about this opportunity and deeply grateful to Ms. Tarrant for her generous gift.
The Fanny Allen Corporation in Colchester, VT gave Saint Francis Xavier a $20,000 grant to expand our Health and Wellness Program. As a result of their generosity, we were able to continue funding our hot lunch program, our physical education program and hire a part-time school nurse.
